Full Steam Backwards

SATURDAY

A sunny start to the day and I headed eighteen miles over the hills to Keighley for the Cliffe Castle Parkrun under blue skies! Three and a half laps of a long downhill and a short but steep uphill course. I finished in 53 place with an official time of 26:34 (The extra is the newly-restored conservatory).

I stopped off at Oxenhope Station on the way home. After a quick cappuccino in the buffet I managed to see the newly-restored loco 78022 reverse to the platform before heading off to Keighley at 10:15

I spent a couple of hours in the garden mowing the lawns and breaking the mower blade on an inspection chamber cover. New blade and spark plug ordered.

It's now raining again.
