Fresh

I've had a few fleeting glimpses of Ringlets during the past week, but this fresh looking one on Woodhouse Moor has been the first one that has paused long enough for a photo. Nearby was my first Banded Demoiselle of the year which puzzled me as there isn't, to my knowledge, a river or pond nearby.

Later, at Station Meadow, the warmer temperatures had brought a few more Common Blue out - five altogether.
