Family portrait

A brief visit to Oxborough Hall (National Trust) for a quick walk and a purchase from the shop. This family of swans lives in the moat. Last year they didn't manage to rear any young - this time they have one cygnet and it's growing well. Last time I saw it, a couple of weeks ago, it was at the cute grey ball of fluff stage - now it's a young swan! Hopefully it's now big enough to be past the worst danger from predators. The cob is HUGE and I certainly wouldn't want to annoy him!
