Freedom!

Went up to the allotment early, to do more transplanting (chard, red cabbage and neep this time). Fortunately one other allotmenteer had turned up before I left and I was able to rid myself of a huge number of surplus purple sprouting plantlets. She seemed delighted!

Later on I went round to Arclight and Mr T's place for a tea party - lots of delicious baking on offer, interesting folk to converse with, and I tried a Cornish IPA which was excellent. When I was sorting out some broad beans to take to them I found that a small grasshopper had hitched a ride. I managed to catch him in a jar and took him along the Water of Leith pathway a bit to release him in some long grass. Managed one snap of him contemplating his new waterfront residence before he leapt off!
