Garden: Thick-legged Flower Beetle (f)

Less appropriately named in large.
Extra:
Fungal figure with trefoil tie (original version)

I just took macro photos in the garden today, both with and without flash... This thick-legged flower beetle doesn't have thick legs because she's a female; while I acknowledge the arbitrariness of our names for other organisms, it always makes me roll my eyes when we've named them after sexually dimorphic features (cf. tufted ducks).
