Seagull chicks....

.......on a hospital roof. Rubbish photo but it teemed down with rain most of the day and as we were running around town taking h's car to get it's exhaust fixed for her there wasn't much opportunity. While the car was being sorted we took the opportunity to visit 2 individual friends both in hospital. I went to see our neighbour C who went in for surgery for a 4-5 visit 3 weeks ago and is still there and likely to be be for sometime poor girl. Lots of complications. One of her daily distractions is watching these black backed gull chicks on the adding flat roof. The parents come back each year apparently and have a nest next to a skylight and the 3 babies are now up and wandering around. Mum was about a metre away and dad on a nearby roof watching out. C tells me the nurses say they sometimes see foxes on these flat roofs.
