Milk Etc Next Bridge

Today it mostly rained - which put paid to my planned walk up Pendle Hill…the top was covered in cloud (see extra) and I was not equipped for wet weather walking! I called in at the tearoom at the Pendle Heritage Centre in Barrowford for a cuppa and a cake, hoping that the rain would ease off - but it didn’t.

Earlier in the day I had walked along a section of the Leeds Liverpool Canal from Rishton and found this bridge with the slogan painted on the side. Made me smile on a dreary day.

I suppose I shouldn’t be surprised about the rain - this is Lancashire after all.
