Sgwarnog: In the Field

Bonanza

It seems that Summer is here and the Painted Lady influx continues. There were seven in the Woodhouse Moor meadow this lunchtime, along with eight Meadow Browns. After months of seeing butterflies in ones or twos that amounted to a bonanza.

Later, I did my now customary pit stop in the Station Meadow at Shipley on my way home. The Ringlets and burnet moths were out in number there, along with a couple of Meadow Browns and Common Blues.
