Rose Festival

Every year I miss the Rose Festival at Polesden Lacey. I'm either too early and the roses haven't come out, or I am too late and they are past their best. But this year I got it right!
I went on my own as N wasn't interested (!) so was able to go at my own pace and take lots of photos. The spectacle was quite breathtaking. Not only did the roses look spectacular, the perfume was very strong. I have posted several extras.
After the rose garden I sat for a while on the veranda overlooking the view across the Surrey countryside. (Another extra)
