Mono Monday: This island nation

Not an easy subject for me , this week's Mono Monday's challenge with its topic of "patriotism".  For those of us in a Brexit divided Britain partiotism is potentially a very divisive subject.  

I've chosen to go with some selected quotes from others as the background text to the central image which is actually a headscarf with a Union Jack design which (when you look closely) you realise is composed from lots of small flowers, a concept which I rather like.  Hopefully it looks something like Great Britain - I would have made it the UK but couldn't work out how to add Northern Ireland easily.
