Well, you almost got to see the development of the other day's butterfly cocoon which I managed to locate again this morning.  It's turned a stunning colour - all shimmering golds and pinks.  But this fella jumped out at me when I mowed the lawn.  

He's new so he gets it. 

And, he seems to be called beautiful plume moth. I now have two moths to my plume moth collection. Rather pleased :)
