Debbie & Jim

We took our friends the crabs we caught today for a crab feast they are having tomorrow. They live on the creek and have an osprey nest with 3 babies! They are named Debbie, Jim and Walter. Our pair lost their eggs some how so I was thrilled to have the opportunity to get a few close ups of this nest. The fledglings are very active and I plan to keep an eye on them for the next few weeks as our friends are going on a three week vacation. Watching these birds is one of my favorite summer pastimes.
