All part of the story

Sunset on Sunday

It really has been a Sunday today. Sun all day. We even sat out in the sun after lunch, and dare I say it, got too hot!

S was up with the larks, to get ready for D and J arriving to gather the hill sheep. They set off at 6.30.   They think they had a clean gather which is good - any sheep left on the hill miss out on the shearing trailer, and have to be hand clipped later on.

Later AS and I had a walk to Haunn and found the Field gentian and some Common centuary.  She walked back whilst I joined up with S and MC to have a drink sitting out in the sun with 2 blippers and some of their family at Toechtamhor - which was lovely!

After supper AS and I walked down into the field below the house, to watch the sun setting.

All in all, what a gorgeous summer day!
