Sports Day

As in previous years, I was asked to take photographs of the various events at today's school sports day.  So I have spent all day out on the sports field, with a brief foray into the gym to photograph the high jump.  I was quite warm and tired by the end of the day,

I find it difficult to be original when photographing sports, and I seem to take the same photographs year after year.  I did try taking some low viewpoints this year, and it worked best well with the hurdles, looking up at the athletes leaping with a blue sky behind, decorated with fluffy white clouds.  The picture I have chosen for my blip is not one of my best but I cannot use a photograph where the student is clearly identifiable.
