I nearly had a smashing time!

This is a field of barley close to Moniack Castle and Reeling Glen. I was exercising Maris the Yaris at the time. Unfortunately on my return journey, a complete idiot nearly caused a bad smash. He tried to pull out of a pub car park to my left when I was feet away from him travelling at 40mph in a 40 zone. I had to swerve to avoid him. Had there been an oncoming vehicle we would have had an 80mph head to head smash, probably fatal. I looked in my rear view mirror and the chap just sauntered away in the opposite direction. I was just relieved that Maris and I were both in one piece.
