Time for change

Not as wet today as expected - having got my second planter finished I gave them both a coat of preservative in between showers. 

Going down to the station to collect Daughter Two from the train I stopped to take a picture of what used to be Hazelbank Motors, a family car maintenance and sales business in Oban for the last 47 years. The company is closing down its workshop and moving to a smaller premises round the back to concentrate on sales and hire. A pity as we've bought our cars and had them serviced there for years - a very friendly bunch! 

It's going to become a new branch of Screwfix. Personally I feel that Oban has quite enough in the way of builders' merchants and hardware stockists, but who am I to say!
