Goodbye Corfu

Time to say goodbye to the Blue- throated Keeled Lizards. They have entertained us every day on the walls outside our room. A civilised 7.30 am breakfast followed by a walk around the Herb Garden - too early for butterflies-then our transfer to the airport. Massive queues for check in not helped by regular failure of the luggage belt. We finally got checked in 30 minutes before the flight was due to take off. Thankfully security was better organised.and We got through okay. Good flight and arrived home at 3.30 pm. Now sadly feeling overwhelmed by jobs in the house and garden. On the plus side I saw 6 species of butterfly in the garden, a Banded Demoiselle and a Darter by the pool. Hopefully good weather tomorrow.
