These beautiful dark pink roses were a present from Violet to her mummy nearly 2 weeks ago when she had her accident involving the patio doors.  Today they did need to be consigned to the recycle bin as the leaves and many petals were dried and dropping, but some  of the blooms still had a beauty to them and an almost silken appearance.

Today I've managed to get a shot of my alternative flower, Violet, see extras.  She has been applying make up to her Aunty C (very expertly I might add) and here is demonstrating how to rub your lips together after applying lip gloss.
