A quiet day

I took this photo at a little park directly across the street from the beautiful garden I blipped the other day.  There are always children and families playing, whatever the time of day.  I spent some time watching the FINA diving championships on TV - I always enjoy that, and I realized that I've been watching diving for a really long time, because a British diver I remember seeing when he first showed up at age 13 is now 25 and was last year's world champion.  I enjoy watching people trying to do something very difficult perfectly.  I guess that's why individual competitive sports are my favorite.  

Minkelina sat on my lap for a while, and now I'm heading off for a shower and early bed.  Tomorrow is tutoring and I like to be at my best.
