enjoying the garden despite the racket from a cement mixer and grinding going on in one of my neighbours' gardensall week apparently, and all day and evening long so far today....

Needed a peaceful and quiet weekend this weekend,  so hope they finish soon and don't intend to make the racket again tomorrow on a Sunday!!

Thankful that my back is not so painful after taking strong painkillers last night and I managed shopping and amazingly cleaned all the windows upstairs (and cleaned up so much fur on my curtains, I am really embarrassed - how do I stop it happening I have no idea, but I think I'm going to end up buying new ones)...  and half my bedroom!  Back to it soon, to finish before bedtime....

In between I've been reading a good detective novel on kindle and trying to relax.  Not sure why but I'm feeling quite low this weekend which is unusual for me these days - I think it could just be because I've been so busy I haven't had time to think about my Mum (and she is back in hospital for the third time in as many months :( ); 

Plus there have been some team changes at work I am not entirely happy about, because it means I am not just in a small combined team of 7 anymore, but in a huge team of 20+ people for 2/3 of my job and in a smaller team of 5 for the other 1/3 of my job... and have to go to 'team events'  with the larger team instead of our lovely small team, but at least I still have a job!


Casualty tonight and dinner is roast vegetables and salmon :)
