Blueberry Heron

Off for a walk with the pooch and no good camera.....just the phone and of course there was a heron so very close to us where we had sat to take a break....it was a nice longer walk and exciting to see the heron right by us.  I'm glad we had stopped for a breather as this was when we did see the heron..as well as many pond dragon flies and some local quackers. We also met a lovely women with her doggie...we had a nice chat and then Cowboy and I moved on....later as we were driving away I saw the Heron flying overhead and leaving the greenbelt.  It was magical to sit on a bench so close to him;)
