MONO MONDAY - STREET SCENE AND SILHOUETTE

The topic for today’s Mono Monday challenge is “Street Scene” and there is also a Community challenge running to post a photograph which is a silhouette.  This shot does convey a street scene, but not sure it is a true silhouette, but I’ve tried!

I had to go out to do some business today at a local Post Office, so took the opportunity to return two pairs of trousers to M & S because, having lost weight, deliberately, I might add, they were baggy on me, so rather than just let them sit in my wardrobe, I decided to return them.

On the way, I walked past our Fire Station and as the sky was looking quite dark, took a shot of the look-out tower which is in the grounds and thought it came out quite well.  Of course, it would have been much more exciting had there been two or three firemen on the tower!

Actually, I would quite like to go to the top of this look-out tower to find out how far you can see - perhaps that's a challenge for me and of course, if I do manage that, it will be blipped!

As Mr. HCB is away for the week at cricket, I am in charge of all the household jobs, and have a pile of ironing to do, so this will be short and sweet today.

P.S.  Thank you for all your lovely comments, stars and a heart for my family portrait Blip yesterday, all of which were much appreciated.
