Here she is

I planned to make this pretty patch of harebells from our dog walk today's blip but Someone decided it needed extra interest!

We had a day of odd jobs planned but first of all needed a visit to the garden centre for wasp killer (every house, bar Orkney, has had wasp issues; here, we have both wasp AND bee problems!). Given that said garden centre had sent me a token for free cream scones and tea for two it'd be rude not to so we did. And then proceeded to buy up suitable 'special offer' plants which was NOT on our original plan. No wasp killer though.

Back home we have done a little light weeding, placed the new plants ready for planting (depending on the weather which is forecast Scorchio, I think) and them whizzed out to jolly social mixed golf. LH came 2nd and 3rd (don't ask, I can't be bothered to explain!) and I just had fun which is the object of the exercise really.

Trying to get the usual jobs done (= loads of washing and the battle with dog hair) plus readying things for Dad next week. Even though he's only initially with us for two nights he still needs somewhere to sleep, do his writing, sit comfortably, etc etc.
