Eilean Donan Castle.

Driving past Eilean Donan I noticed some interesting clouds behind the castle so found somewhere to turn around and return to the car park; by the time I had parked the car and extracted the camera gear, the light  had gone – and the cloud had descended – leaving the background a bland grey with no prospect of lifting.
As I drove away, the cloud magically lifted again, so another quick U-turn and a repeat of the previous procedure. This happened a few more times before I thought, “Sod it!” and stayed by the side of the tripod until the original conditions were restored. All the while, the Eye-phone brigade were appearing, crossing their legs, taking a picture, uncrossing their legs to review said picture, and finally, re-crossing their legs to re-take. Why do they do that?
