My topsy-turvy life

By Rathmandu

Mainly domestic

Owen and me went into town and decided to pop to the castle to check out the archaeological excavations going on. We, or at least I, got chatting to Bob (probably not his real name) here about some of the things they'd unearthed that he was cleaning up.

Mainly domestic. Bits of pottery, animal bones, fragments of glass, and lots of broken pipes. Apparently it all dates from the early Victorian era back to around the Civil War in the 17th century. This morning they'd just gone down another layer to see what they could find but as of yet no gold or coins or shiny stuff.
