This Scabious is the most popular plant

... with butterflies in the garden, though they are visiting a few other choice plants like the everlasting wallflower.  A rather sedate Meadow Brown is featured today, though I would have liked a photo of the Gatekeeper, but as this was zooming around and barging into all the other butterflies that were trying to extract nectar, there was little chance of that.  I tried again a little later, but by this time there was no sign of the brown butterflies.
