Head To Head

..........with a Damsel Fly!

We did a long walk that we haven't done for a while, starting in Skenfrith (Monmouthshire) and walking into Herefordshire and back.

A third of the way into the walk I saw the Damsel Fly land on the grass and got down near it, and took a few photo's. Soon we were looking at each other and I popped my finger out and it hopped on. Luckily I had my camera on microscope mode and managed quite a few photo's. Lovely of it to pose for a good minute before flying off.

Reminds me of this encounter in April

We got stuck in traffic on the way home so it's a quick shower and into the hospital in Cardiff to visit my mum. Catch you all later.......
