Multiple Clematis

It was our garden centre Wednesday so we chose the one that allows photography and claimed some free coffees.

I always want to use my macro lens on flowers but I have issues with it, on Saturday it auto focused perfectly every time, today it wouldn't. With no guarantee of getting a sharp shot, on a breezy day, with a shallow depth of field on manual focus, I opted for an in-camera multiple shot.

This problem has been driving me mad for a while now. I've cleaned the contacts. Sometimes focussing works, sometimes it doesn't. The Sigma 105mm f2.8 Macro lens works on other bodies.

I made the change to this lens when I went full frame as my little 60mm Canon Macro was incompatible. Recently I considered buying the Canon 100mm f2.8L but I read a review that said a photographer had returned one because of auto focussing problems with the Canon 5D Mk3.

I don't know what to do! (Changing to Nikon is NOT an option!)
