Today I had to take Mark (our son) to the Papworth for a CCTV, sorry CT scan – a ruddy long way if you ask me when we have Peterborough and Grantham on our doorsteps, but I gather the heart specialist is centred there, which of course the Papworth is renown for – that and my Sleep Apnoea clinic.
 
The hospital has just moved from Papworth Everard to the Addenbrooke site – about half as far again for us to drive. I gather that I will be seen at an outreach clinic which is nearer to home than Papworth Everard is, so that will be better.  Nevertheless the new hospital is spectacular, but I’m glad that I will not have to drive that far.
