Mayhem on the Mile

Woke up to a sunny day in Edinburgh, and as forecast, it got brighter and warmer as the day went on. I spent more than three hours in the Royal Mile, taking mostly people pictures; I'll have a lot of sorting out to do when I get home. It was absolutely and solidly crowded - but I rather like it that way! I remember this pink-haired guy from last year - he was stripping off, he said, to prove that he wasn't wearing protective clothing before juggling with knives! Maybe he was also emphasising his political stance! My extras shows a girl with a painted face and a lady in a pavement cafe who was organising her friend's hair!

I met up with MrsM and Daughter two after lunch and we thoroughly enjoyed Helen Wood's comedy 'The National Trust Fan Club'.
