Silver Waters....

Maisie and I walked late this morning. The sky was clear and the day sunny but the brisk breeze was bitterly cold. The late winter sun was shining brightly turning the waters of the Taylor River to silver. There has been snow in unusual places in the South Island such as Reefton on the West Coast. But we have had none here. We spent time walking with a friend and her yellow Labrador called “Bella”. Our first dog was a yellow lab called Bella. Son Duncan and kitten have arrived for the night... The kitten is still full of mischief.
