A Doric A-Z: G revisited

An occasional A-Z of the Doric, the dialect spoken in the North-East of Scotland which is rich in words and phrases associated with the land and the sea. 

Today a double bill of words beginning with g. GAPUS GILLIEPEROUS: A stupid, irresponsible fool.

A gapus gillieperous is the kind of person who buys milkshakes in the Aberdeen Macdonalds drive-through, slurps them as they drive north and then when they reach Newburgh tosses them out of the window onto the community flowerbeds.
