Mono Monday: Week 289 .....

.... Maximum/Maximal.

Whilst in the pool this afternoon I tried holding my breath to see how long I could.  The Maximum time with only around 17 seconds.  How do those magicians and other performers hold their breath for so long!?!

Sorry for yet another pool selfie! But I was having a hard time coming up with something original for today's MM theme!  

I released our third Monarch Butterfly (see extra) this afternoon .... another female.  So far this year all of the monarchs emerging have been females .... I'm hoping to have some males emerge soon! This beautiful butterfly was released in the memory of GirlWithACamera's beloved sister Barb.  xoxo  (I'm sorry that the picture isn't on a more natural setting.  She was ready to fly and I wasn't able to get a picture of her outside the enclosure.)
