Life through the lens...

The culprit.

I thought I would try some purple sprouting broccoli this year.
A vegetable I grew many years ago when we had a proper vegetable plot at our previous house.
However they have been eaten to bits, and at last I have found the culprit.
The caterpillars are so tiny, and I only found two, but as you see there are some more eggs.

A bit of a mixup this morning when I decided to meet up with some friends.
So ended up having coffee on my own at a local garden cafe.
However had a good look round as I haven’t been there for many months.
Bought my first C........ present!

This afternoon I was supposed to be tackling a pile of ironing, but grandson and girlfriend called to have a look at the photos I took of his graduation. I decided to have some printed the old fashioned way. They were quite happy with them, though he never likes having his photo taken.
Then his other grandma called. She was thrilled with her set of photos.
Well of course grandmas would think the ones of their grandson were good, wouldn’t they.
We got chatting, and before we knew it, it was nearly 5 pm.
So the pile of ironing is still in the basket!

A day mostly of sunshine, but with the odd heavy shower.
Unfortunately the pots in the garden needs watering again.

Extra is the view over Huddersfield I took on my way to the garden centre.
