Back to work, after seeing K off to the train. Slightly odd being back in SLT talking about various knotty issues again but afterwards I did manage an outing to see the Kenneh-Mason siblings playing at the Queen’s Hall. They were both fabulous performers, and Sheku was very animated on the cello....great stuff
Back to the office and worked steadily wrangling emails all afternoon as the thunder and lightning and biblical floods were unleashed outside...poor street performers and tourists!
Home for supper with Sa&So who had been up Arthur's Seat this morning - luckily before the rain - and then we went over to Assembly rooms to see Ed Byrne. Slightly tame comedy about family life and superhero films but good humoured and they enjoyed it. Step count still going well and we enjoyed hearing Florence and the Machine in Princes St gardens and the tattoo fireworks as we walked home,
