Light in the darkness

A very atypical show this evening: a mixture of poetry, song, rock guitar, electric violin, contemporary and Indian dance. All framed by a whale skeleton and the work of Dylan Thomas. I wonder what he would have made of it ...

I'm not a massive fan of modern dance, but there are exceptions. Mourad Merzouki's amazing Pixel is one, and while this wasn't at that level, it was mesmerising. The Indian dancer Jessie Veera was seriously good. You can't see her face here, so see also second extra. The first extra features artistic blur -- I seem to do a lot of that nowadays, as I'm still getting to grips with the Olympus. See the video clip for a non-blurred version.
