Possibly not the best of days......

.....to decide to trim the backyard ivy but the lure of trying out a brand new pair of secateurs was just too strong......let's just say that 'drenched' is my new middle name. And believe it or not it wasn't even raining, but it's amazing how much rainwater ivy retains for deposition on unsuspecting, but really should know better, pruners ;-) 
(happily, the garden bin is now stuffed to overflowing so I've had to stop!)
