Cosmos

We answered the call to join a weeding party on the promenade above the local beach and we did well in our two hours starting at 8am with a repeat performance next Sunday. Otherwise, an easy day recovering from the many miles walked this week. This is one of my cosmos flowers. I was shown a Canadian fleabane weed which I realised I had three tall plants of in my garden. I had been waiting to see what they are but hearing they will be the next “Himalayan balsam”, I removed the plants this morning now having a positive ID.
