Be prepared....

An easy day along the yo-yo of Interstate 5... I even got a small walk in during lunch. Tomorrow I will be the second driver going to a new customer out in the boondocks. So new, the companies computer didn't have directions.. My boss didn't have directions... So being blessed with a dad that was a Letter Carrier and my mom a School Bus Driver - reading a map almost came naturally... Today of course it's Google Maps with a satellite view that showed a nice dirt lot where a building should be.  

I took a nice detour on my way home trying to find this place. I had been to this area three times over the last 20 years so I had a general idea but I still got lost in my car. Finally finding this place, a kind security guard gave me the proper truck directions - as I will be back in the morning in the dark...This also reminded me of the song Be Prepared by Tom Lehrer  (not suitable for children)
