Gatekeeper on Lemon Thyme

An early blip for me today as I have major dental surgery to look forward to this afternoon. Len has cooked a hearty breakfast of bacon and egg to sustain me.

The morning started bright and sunny, when I found this Gatekeeper butterfly on the herb patch outside. It's cloudy now. 

Basil has gone to Laura's where her dog Bailey greeted him enthusiastically. Basil is much loved there.
