Gipsy Threads

Milson Park

Had half-and-hour to spare and walked around the Sydney harbour-front suburb of Kirribilli. While cooing over cute little terraced houses and fuming over ugly waterfront flats, I came across this delightful little park. Settlers first used the area as a rubbish dump but fortunately had a better idea and created the park in the 1890s.

This beautiful circle of palm trees dates from 1912.
