Imagine If

Took my life and limbs in my hands and climbed up on the roof this evening to await the rise of the moon. It was quite windy and too much to take the tripod up; anyway, none of the zoom ones were any good, but I liked this one, with the beginnings of Mourão in it, and the gypsy encampment on the hill; they also provided the musical accompaniment from the church below us.

Gratefuls:
- helping Mike get the first of the panels up on the roof, and him getting it screwed down; it's a start, but very glad some strong men are coming to help with the remainder on Saturday
- the beauty of this world we live in... Imagine if we'd never seen a full moon, and then one day we saw it rising, rising silently into the purple sky...
- and the shadows of olive leaves decorating the white gate pillars, better than if they'd been painted on because they change and disappear and reappear tomorrow, and will never need repainting
