Moon Rise

I didn't get any shots during the day, so decided to try my hand at the moon rise. It was worth staying up. Lots to learn when it comes to the landscape shot.

While I was sitting outside waiting, I had a bat fly pretty close to my face. It isn't as endearing as having a hummingbird hover in front of you. I am grateful they have their radar that keeps them from bumping in to strangers!
