It's in the Bag

Quite damp.  Heavy rain.  Coming near time for high water, sooth east wind.  The sky was having a conversation with the sea.

The Current Mrs Creel is heid doon paying tribute to Patricia Hayes’ performance in Edna the Inebriate Woman; deftly written by Jeremy Sandford.  My diary tells me I watched in October 1971.  It was a chilly evening.  It was a stunning performance.

In one of the few Blips not taken by myself I am snug and dry for I am inside the black sack.

Across for a meeting in the Hoy Kirk.  Taking the minutes is eminently more fraught than recording Hansard.
