Waning Gibbous

17°  -  25 mph Wind  -  Partly Cloudy.  Just as I was going to bed I noticed the Moon shining brightly between the clouds.  Too good not to take advantage of!  Sunday blip sorted, thought I!  So 00.25 am here she is  -  the Waning Gibbous  -  406.090 km from Earth over Montrose. Looks great LARGE!  Two separate exposures  -  the Moon wouldn’t be in that position until about 3.30 am, and I didn’t fancy staying up ‘til then.  And Sod’s Law I expect it would be covered in cloud anyway!  You can see the Moon as I captured it in my Extra!  Ah well, off to bed now☺
