Coney Island Cyclone

Today's National Roller Coaster Day! To celebrate, Jill and I drove to New York and visited the two amusement parks at Coney Island. Cyclone is possibly the most famous roller coaster on the planet. It's very good. We got four rides each. We also rode four other coasters and Wonder Wheel. I have now ridden 291 different coasters.

This was my first time in New York City. I liked it, though I need to visit again because this was just a sliver of the universe that is that city. It was cool seeing Manhattan from the Verrazzano-Narrows Bridge and from the top of Wonder Wheel. It's a five-hour drive, so it's doable.

After Coney Island and getting stuck in traffic on Staten Island, we went to Six Flags Great Adventure. Three parks in one day! We've now been to 23 parks this year.

In extras: Wonder Wheel at Deno's Wonder Wheel Amusement Park at Coney Island and Nitro at Six Flags Great Adventure.
