Barmy Backyard Buddleia!

a few times this year I have taken photos of butterflies over the fence in our neighbour's yard, and mentioned his riotous buddleia. Today I decided to just blip his yard. There are no insect guests so far today, probably due to the dismal weather!

I am glad he's left it to go crazy like this - it has been so good for the wildlife! The plant on the left edge of the shot actually overhangs our yard! If it spreads to our yard properly we won't be able to let it grow quite so rampantly - our yard is even smaller than his, and we would not be able to hang the washing or go to the bins!
