Sunflower bud gone wild

Only two sunflower seedlings made it into plants, this one is on a plant full of small buds, the other one is going to be one big sunflower if it keeps growing, I'm willing it to grow taller and for the actual bud to appear every day. Today's 30 days of composition prompt was 'deliberately discordant'. I really don't like to make any photo that would make my self or other people uncomfortable, so I thought more in opposites. A sunflower, even in bud, is supposed to be sunny, colourful and bright, so I converted this rather too exposed wild-looking one in a moody grainy Film Noir B&W version, see the extra.
