Effervescence

In contrast to yesterday's morning sun shot, here is a similar view backlit by the evening sun. I just liked the sparkles on the water and thought they made for an interesting shot.

Full confession, this is a composite of two shots, not just bracketed for exposure, but the foreground shot is defocussed slightly to produce the circles of light. The background was so dark in that version that nothing of note could be recovered. I think I kept the background in the final image dark enough to be convincingly backlit.
