A Day Out

When we went to Thwaite Mills with the BPWs we were given a voucher for Free Entry to Leeds Industrial Museum at Armley - so today that's where we went.
Lots of interesting things to see but my highlight of the visit was the Palace Picture House (the interior can be seen in my extra) where they were showing films of seaside holidays taken during 'Wakes Weeks' in the late 1940s/early50's.
We then went on to have a look at the Middleton Railway which was just 5 miles down the road - Mr. MD's Blip has more details.
It was a most interesting Day Out.
